Automation / Controls engineer

Do you want to work on the integration of automation & control in iron fuel boilers and production systems? And be the key person between the development of our technology and testing it?

Experience: 0-5 years

Degree: BEng / BSc / MSc

What will you do as an Automation / Controls engineer?

As a Automation / Controls engineer your objective is getting control systems from engineering to work succesfully in practice. You fulfil a key role in the team to provide functional and safe automation in our systems.

Your job will consist of but is not limited to:

  • Designing PLC automation / control systems.
  • Implementing automation on our test setups.
  • Defining test plans for control system performance and safety analyses.
  • Conducting tests to validate control system performance.
  • Providing general engineering feedback based on your observations.

Job requirements

To succeed in our mission pro-activity, adaptability, communication and professionalism are crucial. We are looking for someone who is ambitious and who is ready to transform the future of energy with his/her ideas. Furthermore, you will bring:

  • Engineering degree with knowledge of PLC control
  • Knowledge / experience with:
    • Automation / control basics
    • Electronics basics
    • Implementation of PLC software on hardware
    • Design and execution of software tests
    • Data acquisition and analysis
  • Software skills: Python / C-code
  • The ability to quickly adapt your approach to changing conditions
  • Availability for 40 hours per week
