As the Lead Process Operator overseeing our Iron Fuel Boiler pilot plant in Helmond, you play a pivotal role in operational planning, organization, and execution. Your focus on short and long-term operational goals, aligned with the test plan and Goal Zero objectives, ensures the smooth functioning of our operations. Acting as a liaison between the Coordinator Operations and the process operations team, you contribute significantly to the operational phase’s preparation by formulating procedures and organizing necessary training.
What you do as a Lead Process Operator
• Actively contribute to operational phase preparation by formulating procedures and organizing training.
• Take charge of HSE performance on-site, adhering to the Goal Zero policy and implementing necessary shutdowns for safety.
• Monitor compliance with established procedures and propose improvements based on initial results.
• Operationally manage the pilot plant, acting as the authorizer for post-construction work, excluding high-risk activities.
• Provide regular project updates, reporting on the progress and test results of the operation.
• Analyze team competencies, suggesting training to enhance installation quality and achieve Goal Zero objectives.
Why you make a difference
• Relevant experience as a Lead Process Operator in an industrial setting, preferably within the heat, energy production or (petro)chemical industry.
• Possession of at least VAPRO-B is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in executing HSE policies and achieving Goal Zero objectives.
• Strong communication skills fostering a positive-critical team environment prioritizing safety, health, cost, and quality.
• Adaptive capabilities enabling informed decisions in a dynamic, ad hoc environment.
• Ability to grasp the bigger picture, understanding the interconnected aspects of the business to contribute to organizational goals.
