How you will make an impact
As Team Lead Process Engineer, you play a crucial role in the process design and development of our innovative Iron Fuel systems. You will be technically involved in (EPC) projects and also take on the role of Team Lead. In this leadership role, you are responsible for a team of four motivated Process Engineers. You are the main point of contact for the team and work closely with Project Management, HR, and the Team Leads of other disciplines.
What you do as a Team Lead Process Engineer
• You prepare (EPC) projects together with the Project Manager, carefully assigning your team members according to the needs of the project and fitting them to your employees.
• You ensure, together with HR, that your team has sufficient knowledge and capacity to execute the required projects, both in the short and long term.
• You coach both beginner and experienced process engineers in their personal development.
• You determine the requirements that systems must meet for optimal performance.
• You design chemical processes from concept to P&ID level.
• You collaborate with the Technical Project Manager on feasibility studies and conceptual designs (FEL/FEED studies).
• You actively participate in the startup of systems, ensuring safety and operability.
• You contribute to safety studies (HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL) to identify safety risks and ensure that your colleagues can work safely.
Why you make a difference
• Bring at least 3 years of experience in process engineering within the heating, energy production, (petro)chemical, or similar industry.
• Have knowledge and experience with software and systems used in process engineering.
• Can motivate and clearly inform with your clear communication style, both towards your own process team and to (project) management.
• Are proficient in both Dutch and English.
• Have a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a similar study/experience.
